At The Amethyst Beach Motel in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, we welcome your business, and we have several policies that are designed help you plan your vacation. We ask that every patron read these policies before making a reservation.
When you are planning to make a reservation for a Saturday, we may require you to stay two days. For those of you planning to come for a holiday, a three-night reservation may be required. When you want to rent our apartments for a week, you must stay for a minimum of three days to make a reservation. These apartments cost between $295.00 and $350.00 per night. The Beach house starts at $600.00
Our prices are based on two adults or a family of four staying in our rooms. There is a $40.00 fee for every additional adult. Sorry, we do not allow pets. Our check-in time is 2:00 p.m., and checkout is at 11:00 a.m.
If you drive a large or oversized vehicle, we ask that you make special arrangements at the time of reservation. Parking availability is subject to change. Any vehicles parked on the premises are subject to daily parking rates. Additional charges may apply, including packages or daily amenities. All parking is by reservation only.

By making a reservation through Amethyst or any of our online partners, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the accommodation provider Amethyst at which you booked.
Payment method Cancellation policy accepted at the time of the booking Please note, in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Deposit policy accepted at the time of the booking 100 percent of the first night may be charged anytime after booking. From the point at which you make your reservation, our online partners act solely as an intermediary between you and the accommodation, transmitting the details of your reservation to the relevant accommodation provider and sending you a confirmation email for and on behalf of the accommodation provider Amethyst. When rendering our services, the information that we maintain is based on the information provided to us by accommodation providers or our on line booking engine. As such, the accommodation providers are given access to an extranet through which they are fully responsible for updating all rates, availability and other information which is displayed on their websites. Although we will use reasonable skill and care in performing our services we will not verify if, and cannot guarantee that, all information is accurate, complete or correct, nor can we be held responsible for any errors (including manifest and typographical errors), any interruptions (whether due to any (temporary and/or partial) breakdown, repair, upgrade or maintenance of our website or otherwise), inaccurate, misleading or untrue information or non-delivery of information. Each on line partner remains responsible at all times for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of the (descriptive) information (including the rates and availability) displayed on their website.. Cancellation and no-show of our Terms and Conditions: By making a reservation with an accommodation provider or us, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy of that on line provider, and to any additional (delivery) terms and conditions of the accommodation provider Amethyst that may apply to your reservation or during your stay, including for services rendered and/or products offered by the accommodation provider (the delivery terms and conditions of an accommodation provider can be obtained with the relevant accommodation provider). The general cancellation and no-show policy of each accommodation provider is made available on our website on the accommodation information pages, during the reservation procedure and in the confirmation email. Please note that certain rates or special offers are not eligible for cancellation or change. Applicable city/tourist tax may still be charged by the accommodation in the event of a no-show or charged cancellation. Please check the room details thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making your reservation. Please note that a reservation which requires down payment or (wholly or partly) prepayment may be cancelled (without a prior notice of default or warning) insofar the relevant (remaining) amount(s) cannot be collected in full on the relevant payment date in accordance with the relevant payment policy of the accommodation and the reservation. Late payment, wrong bank, debit or credit card details, invalid credit/debit cards or insufficient funds are for your own risk and account and you shall not be entitled to any refund of any (non-refundable) prepaid amount unless the accommodation agrees or allows otherwise under its (pre)payment and cancellation policy. If you wish to review, adjust or cancel your reservation, please revert to the confirmation email and follow the instructions therein. Please note that you may be charged for your cancellation in accordance with the accommodation provider's cancellation, (pre)payment and no-show policy or not be entitled to any repayment of any (pre)paid amount. We recommend that you read the cancellation, (pre)payment and no-show policy of the accommodation provider carefully prior to making your reservation and remember to make further payments on time as may be required for the relevant reservation. Booking confirmation was sent to the customer after the reservation was made on our website. This confirmation is also the check-in voucher a customer could use when checking into the accommodation and contains all the information relating to the reservation, including, but not limited to, payment receipt, and reservation policy and check-in time. Please inform the property for same day reservations made after 18:00. Please note the property will send guests a rental agreement which must be signed and returned directly to the property. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Swimming pool is closed from Tue, Oct 01until Fri, May 01. Payment: You have now confirmed and guaranteed your reservation by credit card. All payments are to be made at the property during your stay, unless otherwise stated in the policies. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival. You'll be charged the total price if you cancel in the 7 days before arrival. If you don’t show up you will be charged the total price. Any cancellation or modification fees are determined by the property. Additional costs will be paid to the property. Guest parking Private parking is available on site (reservation is needed) and costs USD 10 per day oversized vehicles $20 and must make prior arrangement’s, one vehicle per room.
